It Won’t Rain on this Parade!

The High Performance Rodeo will help ring in the Chinese New Year on Friday, February 1st with their Year of the Snake +15 Art Parade.

This 3rd annual event will feature musicians, dancers, traditional Chinese costumes, and more in a multicultural celebration through the +15 walkways.

While Calgary’s climate is not always condusive to an outdoor parade, kids and adults alike will enjoy this warm and colourful surprise as dozens of costumed performers wind around the city.

The parade, which is free to check out, starts at 1:30PM at the  Sun Life Plaza (144 4th Ave SW) and will wind its way over to Bankers Hall.

The High Performance Rodeo runs until February 3rd.  Tickets for their events at venues all over the city can be found here.
