Pig-A-Pa-What?

First there was Lollapalooza, then Mitch-A-Palooza (you Old School fans know what I mean), and now Calgary has its very own Pig-A-Palooza, courtesy of The Libertine Public House.

If you’ve never been wined and swined, then you better reserve your ticket for Saturday, June 22nd, when The Libertine partners with Art a la Carte for this feast of all things porcine.

For only $40, with a portion of all proceeds going to Art a la Carte,  a local Alberta charity that places art in hospitals and treatment facilities across the province,  participants will enjoy beer, wine and spirit sampling from many of their beverage partners.

A number of delicious pork inspired items from their creative kitchen will also be out for your sampling pleasure - think pork drumettes, bacon & chocolate chip cookies, BBQ pulled pork flatbreads, and more!  They will also be serving up their signature whole roast pig.

Art a la Carte will be hosting a silent auction throughout the event, with a number of small canvas prints up for grabs.

The fun starts at 4:00pm and sampling will continue on until 7:00pm, after which the bar will open and a live DJ will play late into the evening.

More event details can be found here.  For information on tickets, please contact [email protected].

Want to win a pair of tickets? Leave a comment and you’ll be entered to win. We’ll draw a winner on Thursday, June 20th.
