CLASSIC ALBUMS LIVE: FLEETWOOD MAC – RUMOURS

For the first time in popular music, the greatest albums from the 60s and 70s are recreated live on stage, note for note, cut for cut. Founded in 2003 by Toronto musician Craig Martin, Classic Albums Live has quickly earned a stellar reputation for perfectly recreating classic albums, but without the cheesy costumes or shoddy impersonators.

Recorded during one of rock’s most famous real life soap operas, Rumours is an iconic album brewing with hidden inner turmoil. Join Arts Commons and Classic Albums Live as this record is faithfully performed as it was meant to be heard – LIVE.

RUN FOR L’ARCHE

Since 2011, the Run for L’Arche has raised over $300,000 for L’Arche Calgary’s homes and programs for adults with developmental disabilities. Every year, the event hosts 800+ participants in the Half Marathon, 5 Mile and 1K Fun Run Walk events; totaling 1,200 people including volunteers! Our enthusiastic volunteers and pancake breakfast are a big hit every year and our Official Race Starters have included Calgary Mayor Naheed Nenshi and W. Brett Wilson.

WESTERN CUP DANCE AND BRUNCH
March 31 – April 1, 2018

The 36th Western Cup, North America’s longest-running LGBTQ multi-sport event, is coming to Calgary March 29 – April 1! As part of the event, a signature event on Saturday, March 31 is Calgary’s largest LGBTQ dance which sees over 1,000 attendees. The morning of Sunday, April 1, features a gourmet brunch hosted by local drag entertainers.
