If you’re looking for an amazing place to start your Christmas shopping, and support local artisans while you’re at it, then you should come downtown on Saturday, November 17, as there will be a double whammy of winter markets.

The 26th Annual Calgary Art Market & Craft Sale will return to the TELUS Convention Centre from November 15-18 with over 200 professional artisans from across Canada offering up their wares.

So many unique selections for everyone on your list. Pottery, jewellery, clothing, woodwork, leatherwork, food - you name it and you’ll probably find it there.

If you’re interested in attending, a coupon for $2.00 off your admission can be downloaded here.

Market Collective, in collaboration with Light & Soul Creations, will also present the first ever STREET FROSTIVAL on Stephen Avenue on November 17th from 12:00pm-5:00pm, with fun, free activities happening all day.

Expect to see  live mural paintings by Daniel J. Kirk and Cody Thompson, live music by Rotary Park, Lisa Jacobs and Jocelyn Alice Music, Freak Motif and more, live DJ’s (Kinfolk), and vendors.

Don’t let the chilly weather deter you, there will be fire pits and free coffee and hot chocolate with marshmallows to keep you warm!

There will also be an area where you can drop off food items and unwrapped gifts for the Food Bank and the Mustard Seed.
