Discovering a new independent designer in this city is like opening a Christmas present. They seem to always be tucked away in studios, sewing rooms or in a photoshoot working on their latest lookbook. But when they actually have time to breathe and share their work with the public, it is utterly exciting (for all of us). I recently came across EGForge Studios based of Art Central. The collection is designed and created by local designer Eric Goodwin and the results couldn’t be better.
EGForge makes bags; amazing bags. Chockful of character, details and just an all around classic vibe to them, these are the kind of bags you can take anywhere. Duffel bags, satchels and napsacks - these are the kind of bags that memories are made with and age ever so well. Made with waxed canvas and oil-tanned leather, they are waterproof and padded meaning your precious contents will be completely protected.
My favourite pieces from the collection are excellent for toting around on adventures and perhaps you will love them as much as I do!
