#IAMDOWNTOWN is off to a great start, but we want to kick things up a notch, and make things a little more interesting with a photo contest and a block party.
Contest
For those of you who are photographically inclined, we’re holding a photo contest to help spread the word on all of the fun that goes on in Downtown Calgary.
Entering is simple: Take a photo of something going on in Downtown Calgary and post it online using Instagram OR Twitter with the hashtag #IAMDOWNTOWN. That’s it; all photos will be entered in to a weekly draw that will happen every Thursday morning through the summer. The more photos you post, the more entries you receive. Block Party
We’ve had to reschedule our event that was supposed to take place on Thursday, June 20th. We’re hoping to reschedule for Wednesday, June 26th but we will keep our readers posted.
Festivities will include a DJ, break-dancers, food, prizes and a lot of fun. We’ve partnered with some great downtown establishments to make this a worthwhile start to the summer, so stop by and see what we’ve cooked up for you.
