If so, you might want to check out the Little Hippies YYC BIG Summer Launch Party on Friday, August 16 at Olympic Plaza between 11:00am-7:00pm.
Here’s what to expect: local musicians playing on the main stage, yoga demonstrations, food trucks and stands (Fries & Dolls, Perogy Boyz, The Purple Pastry Chef, Caffe Rosso, Davids Tea and more to be announced), an activity tent with henna, hair chalking & braiding, face painting, flower-crown making, plus a yoga-bag decorating station. If you’d like to participate please bring a yoga mat or blanket and prepare to enjoy.
Little Hippies is a company that offers yoga classes for children, and a portion of the fees is donated to the Little Hippies Foundation, which is used to send their yoga instructors into the community to provide free yoga to children that are ill, mentally or physically challenged, or low-income.
