Hockey season is just around the corner, and what better way to get back into the game, than by playing or dropping by to watch Suncor’s United Way street hockey challenge.
The puck drops on Friday, Sept. 27 from 8 a.m. – 3:30 p.m. at the Eau Claire Market, and all funds raised go the United Way’s “All In” for Youth initiative.
Cheer on your favourite team, or join in to channel your inner Crosby and play for the glory of being the champions of this special tournament. Tweet about the event using #SUHockey for a chance to win a $100 gas card!
Teams of six players will play in two ten-minute halves of exciting 3 on 3 action. And the top eight teams continue on into the first of three play-off games, and face-off to become champions.
There are still spots available to register: https://zone4.ca/register.asp?id=5212
Registration fee of $250, with all proceeds going directly to the United Way.
