Street Style Huntress: Fall/Winter Dressing

As I spoke about in last month’s post, layers are ever so important as Fall and Winter have their say. With dropping temperatures there’s more emphasis on outerwear, and I know that I’ve personally been on a serious jacket and coat mission lately – I find that when I have a good selection to choose from, I’m a little bit more accepting and much less grumpy about the cold.

During warmer days, I recommend trying out a cape or blanket scarf, and of course, you can never go wrong with denim or leather. I believe in tons of layers no matter what the temperature, as it will instantly add interest and a cool vibe to your look. A good wool jacket is a great investment, either beautifully fitted for a sleek look, or over-sized so that you have much room for layering underneath. I love adding a bit of faux fur or a vest to my outerwear for even more options and cool pairings, while chunky knits are always a good bet.

Even though black is my favourite and I wear it A LOT, colour is a great way to be more festive and bright during colder months. Patterns and various textures are also cool, and don’t forget fashionable and warm head gear too!

Here is some outerwear inspiration for your Fall/Winter Dressing, as I found during October and early November.
