We are bringing Santa Claus downtown and you’re invited to bring your family to our free events this holiday season!
Santa & Mrs. Claus at Devonian Gardens
It all kicks off at the Devonian Gardens on Saturday, December 12th 2015! Santa Claus will be on hand for free photos from 11am to 2pm. You can also join us for free Christmas crafts, story-time with Mrs Claus, musical performances by Fresh Blend A Capella and more! All activities are free, and the event is open to the general public so bring your children and any “kids at heart” for some Christmas fun downtown! Click here for more info.
Skate With Santa at Olympic Plaza
Come down to Olympic Plaza on Saturday, December 19th from 11am to 3pm for a skating party like no other! Santa Claus will be joined by the Wild Rose Skating Club on the ice at Olympic Plaza for a free skate. Skates and helmets can be borrowed for free from the Kidsport skate shack, and Caffe Rosso will be on hand for hot chocolate and coffee! This event is completely free and open to the public. Bring your entire family and enjoy an afternoon on the ice with Santa!

Need help finding parking? Weekends rates will be in effect at parkades in the area. Use the Downtown Calgary Parking Tool to find near by spot.
The CORE shopping centre offers extended valet parking hours from December 7th to 31st (closed Dec 25). The valet service is free and parking costs just $6 per hour weekdays until 4pm. Evening and weekend parking is free for the first 3 hour, then a flat rate of $2 applies thereafter.
Bankers Hall is offering FREE weekend parking in their underground lots (Bankers Hall underground and West parkades only). Park until 6pm Saturdays and Sundays From Dec 12th to December 26th. Bankers Hall is also offering $2 flat rate parking after 4pm, from Monday to Friday until January 4th.
You can also take the CTrain down, hop off at City Hall station, or brave the cold and cycle down as Olympic Plaza is along the 8th Avenue SW shared space.
