Really, Really Long Table - Rescheduled to Sept 21st

10 restaurants… 7 courses… 280 people… 1 really, really long table. Come downtown for City Palate’s 3rd Annual Really, Really Long Table Dinner.

Restaurants including Blink, Catch & The Oyster Bar, Charcut Roast House, Divino, Teatro, Wine-Ohs, The Belvedere, Trib Steakhouse, Home Tasting Room and The Bank & Baron will each prepare a dish for this remarkable dinner, with wine pairings from The Cellar. A long stretch of downtown Stephen Avenue will be our venue. Gather your friends, and make some new ones at this unique event that celebrates the culinary side of Calgary.

Concrete Sonata - Sept 8 to 11, 2015

As a part of the Honens Festival and Piano Competition, join us on Stephen Avenue on September 8th through 11th for free noon hour piano concerts. Past Honens laureates and other distinguished artists will play a free show on a downtown street piano this week. The outdoor piano will be on the corner of 8th Avenue and Centre Street SW.

5 Browns, 5 Pianos - September 12, 2021

Five fiery young pianists and five grand pianos onstage! These Juilliard-educated siblings deliver scorching piano style along with oodles of personality and charm. Performing in various combinations from duo to complex five piano arrangements, experience the ultimate in keyboard showmanship with the multi-talented Brown family.

NUR Box Theatre - Ongoing

The Nur Box Theatre is a free and publicly accessible modular screening venue. Nur Box’s sole purpose is to provide Calgarians access and opportunity to view locally and internationally produced independent works of film, video, and media art, which might otherwise be inaccessible to the general public.

The Nur Box Theatre will be at Bankers Hall until September 19th before moving to Bow Valley Square until October 4th.

Stephen Avenue Stage - Sept 12 & 19, 2015
Just two final performances before the end of the season! Catch the best of the 2000s and 2010s the next two Saturdays this month! These free concerts run from Noon to 1pm on Saturday, Sept 12th and 19th.
