Downtown Calgary is hosting a two day Thanksgiving Market on Stephen Avenue on October 4 & 5 where you can pick up all your last minute items for a fabulous Thanksgiving dinner this weekend!
Expect to see fresh produce, local artisans, fall décor, baked goods, pastries and much more.
Alberta farmers and local suppliers have been selected to be a part of our market, as we encourage local food resourcing for the holiday season.
Some of the items you can expect to see are:
Prairie Berry – Artisan made baked Saskatoon berry pies, syrup and Saskatoon berry topping/filling that can be used for anything from topping ice cream to being used in place of cranberries with your turkey or ham dinner.
Cruffs - Custom built cream puffs with flavours like blackforest, salted caramelia, and Skor. (Oct. 5 only)
The Main Dish - Don’t have time to cook? Leave it to the experts and pre-order your Thanksgiving Dinner on October 4th. Dinners include Creamy Butternut Squash Soup, Roast Turkey Breast, Seasonal Vegetables, Herb Stuffing, Chai Cranberry Sauce, Gravy, and Harvest Pumpkin Cheesecake. Gluten friendly options are also available.
Jam Godess – Jams, jellies and marmalades made using small batch methods to preserve the taste and quality of the fruit.
