The sun was shining and the models were hot

Stylocity kicked off at noon on September 8 with a “Going out Downtown” fashion show featuring what to wear and where to go when going out downtown. Featuring styles from Kismet, Persona, Element, Harry Rosen’s and Riley & McCormick with stylish shoes for Arnold Churgin, and signature dishes from Teatro, Belgo, Q Haute, Ruth’s Chris Steak House, Buchanans, Chicago Chophouse, and Barclay’s the fashion show looked fantastic on the Stephen Avenue runway.

Styles of note included the very handsome Darryl a.k.a. Downtown Casanova, with his jacket, jeans and fantastic fedora from Harry Rosen’s; the lovely Jordyn in her Flash Dance revival from Elements the Patagonia Store; and Nikita (of Canada’s Next Top Model fame) in her cool, hip, bohemian chic look from Kismet. Also fantastic was the urban cowboy couple Cameron and Mina, both looking ready ride off into the sunset in their looks from Riley & McCormick.

The Going Out Downtown show was a great way to kick off Stylocity as it set the tone for the rest of the week. The downtown core will be inundated with stylish events, shows and demonstrations for the rest of the week, so make sure you check out all the events
