Father’s Day Weekend Downtown Selfie Scavenger Hunt

Charge you smart phones, grab your dad and prepare for the Downtown Selfie Scavenger Hunt!

What is the Downtown Selfie Scavenger Hunt? We’ve partnered with The CORE Shopping Centre and the Treasure League to bring a great weekend activity to the street of Downtown Calgary!

Families and individuals of all ages are welcome to participate in this FREE event, with a chance to win a $500 shopping spree from the CORE Shopping Centre. You can go at your own pace and snap fun selfies at each location you visit as you solve each of the clues. One winner will take home the grand prize, but there will also be participation prizes, as well as swag bags!

Since launching in February, the Treasure League has awarded $2000 in prizes to treasure hunters during their monthly treasure hunts. Every month, Anders J. Svensson of the Treasure League hides a treasure chest somewhere in the city and participants crack clues in order to find it!

“Treasure League started as a simple idea: treasure hunting as a sport. Four months later, we’ve grown to be a friendly and competitive community that has hundreds of people racing to find the chest first, every month.” says Anders, who has worked to create an interesting and unique scavenger hunt for Downtown Calgary.
