After attending post-secondary for journalism and photography, Aldona Barutowicz decided to venture out as a freelance artist to expand and enrich her portfolio. After a few years of art shows, and working for various different avenues as a writer and photographer, she joined the Alberta Theatre Projects team as the Publicist in the Marketing and Communications department, where she still works. She also continues working as a freelance writer and photographer, focusing on street style photography, where she contributes weekly to Swerve Magazine (Style YYC). She’s been published in Swerve Magazine, Stephen Magazine, The Globe and Mail, FFWD Weekly, and the Calgary Sun.
