The Palomino (109 7 Ave SW) will be host to three of Western Canada’s best unsigned metal bands on Saturday, Oct 27th at 9pm.
The Steam Whistle Unsigned Indie Music Series is a cross Canada music series that features the best in unsigned Canadian bands. Tickets are just $5 at the door, with all the proceeds going to CJSW radio.
Calgary bands Chron Goblin and Witchstone are joined by Saskatoon’s Shooting Guns for a night of heavy rock and roll.
While not explicitly stated, I would imagine this would be an event where Halloween costumes would fit right in. Witches and Goblins rejoice and enjoy the heavy sounds descending upon downtown Calgary.
