May Long Weekend Downtown C-Train Disruption

by Downtown Calgary · 0 comments

Please note that there is a LRT disruption in downtown Calgary between Saturday, May 18th and Monday, May 20th of 2013. From the Calgary Transit Website:

Your transit system requires maintenance in order to provide you with reliable service. As outlined in RouteAhead, it is important for us to take care of what we own. With age, the facilities on our system including platforms, rails, and lighting require maintenance and upgrades. We have identified several major construction/maintenance projects that require stations to be closed in order to safely and efficiently complete them.

The Crowfoot/Somerset-Bridlewood line will be closed between Chinook Station and 7th Street SW station. A shuttle-bus will be available to service riders between these stations.

The West LRT line will still be serviced between 69th street and Marlborough and will make stops in the downtown core.

For more information, see the shuttle details and map on the Calgary Transit Website.
