Sandwiches in the Sun

Downtown lunchers are always seeking out the best place to perch themselves during the lunch hour. A constant struggle to find the perfect restaurant, the tastiest take-out or how to make bringing your own lunch fashionable - lunch is kind of like limbo until you find the right formula. Do you eat at your desk? Spend the hour shopping and then scarfing something down at the last minute? Do you conduct a power nap under your desk before downing a protein shake?

If you are like me and love to take advantage of the sunshine and grassy spots as much as possible - I am happy to share the perfect lunch spot for such an occasion. From Tuesday to Thursday you can find the Sidewalk Citizen Bakery and Phil & Sebastian Coffee Roasters Pop-Up located in front of the Scotia Centre on Stephen Avenue slinging amazing gourmet sandwiches and espresso. A one-stop shop you no longer have to worry about hitting up a lunch spot and a coffee shop; these two have it all.

With sandwiches like their veggie option - roasted butternut squash with Harissa aioli, pea shoots, cilantro goat cheese & fried chickpeas - there really is no other option than to pick one up and picnic your lunch hour away.
