Calgary’s hottest fall fashion event has finally made its way downtown, right into the heart of the East Village. PARKLUXE 2014 is making its RiverWalk (618 Confluence Way SE) debut this Saturday, October 4th. For those not familiar with PARK, it is a local arts and fashion non-profit organization that has a mandate of supporting and promoting fellow emerging artists. Truly an artist-run group, all of the members of PARK also work in the fashion industry in Calgary and make this magical night of fashion happen once a year. You may have heard of PARK’s other great events; PARK SHOW and PARK SALE, which also celebrate our city’s designers in a more relaxed atmosphere.
PARKLUXE is such a hot ticket item because this is where the designers bring out their top designs and launch incredible new collections. While the VIP spots were quickly snatched up by the city’s fashion obsessed, you still have time to snag a General Seating ticket for $75. Get there early to get the best seat possible with your smartphone on the handy - you don’t want to miss capturing some the stunning creations of this year’s fashion show.
While you’ve got your ticket and your excitement to attend, you’ll still need an awesome outfit to keep you going all night long as you party and celebrate Calgary’s fashion community.
