How-to: Eat Chic in the Food Court

by Kait Kucy · 0 comments

Food courts aren’t always the most desirable place to spend your lunch hours especially if you are longing to be dining in some adorable downtown restaurant instead. Let’s face it though - we can’t all afford to spend five hours a week in chic cafes and diners - we have bills to pay and sometimes that means bagged lunches or if you’ve got it budgeted out - the food court.

Froshberg Gelato and Crepes Delicious have saved the day for you, your budget, and your grandeur dreams of fine dining with their delicious French-inspired crepes and cups spilling over with gelato. For our lunch, my Parisian-expert friend dined on their Popeye Crepe chockful of spinach and cheese. She loved it! She noted that the crepe was soft and chewy - she had been expecting a crunchier tortilla wrap taste and was pleasantly surprised.

We each got little b&w patterned cups of gelato with two flavours each. She: pineapple and lemon and me: pistachio and raspberry. Dripping with sweet goodness, we enjoyed every last spoonful. It helps that The CORE’s food court has beautifully designed seating and tables. And now you too, can eat chic in the food court.
