Saturday, Dec. 13th - Santa Claus is coming to the Devonian Gardens in the CORE Shopping Centre for a one-day-only event! Featuring holiday entertainment, a photobooth, and activities for the kids. The urban oasis known as the Devonian Gardens will be transformed in to a tropical holiday paradise and welcome Jolly Old St. Nick for pictures and activities with the kids. Learn More

Saturday, Dec. 20th - Come down to Prince’s Island Park between 11 am and 3 pm for an event that won’t soon be forgotten. Skate with Santa on the Prince’s Island Park lagoon, courtesy of Downtown Calgary. Skates and helmets will be available to borrow (in limited quantities). Handel’s Messiah

Friday, Saturday and Sunday, December 12th, 13th, & 14th - Maestro Nicholas McGegan, renowned for his interpretations of Handel, joins the CPO to perform this music of faith and hope that has inspired audiences for centuries. Featuring an outstanding international cast of soloists and Chorus, this annual festive concert will leave you singing “Hallelujah!”

Christmas Cookie Exchange

Saturday, December 13th - Join the SAIT Culinary Campus to kick-start your holiday baking! Along with other participants, you will learn how to make Christmas cookies and desserts and take home a dozen of three holiday favorites to gift, freeze or eat right away!

There are two different chances to participate: Saturday early class, and Saturday late class.
