Let’s Shop: Fab Tools for Spring Cleaning

by Kait Kucy · 0 comments

While this weekend’s blast of winter weather was a doozie, spring is definitely in the air. Before you indulge in a bit of cabin fever with the snow, why not start tackling that endless to-do list and get going on your spring cleaning.

I always find that getting organized is so much easier when you have good looking supplies to inspire you. Unattended clutter looks terrible left around the house but when it is boxed up in a patterned Jonathan Adler Box, everything just looks beautiful. I have pulled together some of my favourite colourful and pretty pieces to make organizing and cleaning up just a little bit easier for you.

The Good Grips Snack Jar, (The Bay, $17.99) is perfect for quickly storing colourful items like kids toys or office supplies. Get a whole set and organize your pantry. They work great for flour, sugar, cereals and pastas.

The Jonathan Adler Gothic Rose Storage Box, (The Bay, $12.00) is essential for the home office. Label the boxes and keep your bills, taxes and notebooks organized and at easy access.

Keep track of your grocery budget with this handy-dandy Money Receiptables, (Indigo, $15.99) folder. It is an excellent way to see exactly where you are spending your money each month.

If you are like me and like to do a quick clean-up around the house, you will love the Rattan Hamper, (Indigo, $54.95). The gorgeous mustard yellow stripe is enough to get me tidying up on a regular basis.

For the smaller things that you end up toting around the house, pack them up in this neat & tidy seafoam green Lacquer Storage Box, (Indigo, $24.50).

Maximize closet space with a Hanging Shelving Unit, (Winners, $15-$45). Works great for shoes or use it for folded t-shirts and pants. Alternatively, it works great in a home office closet for more filing storage.

And for those projects that you need to keep organized, clip them together with these Retro Floral Binder Clips, (Papyrus, $9.95). Colourful and complete with quirky labels, you’ll never lose important files again.
