Sept 10th to 14th - Beakerhead is back for another year of engineering and science fun! Break away from the usual with a number of downtown events including Four to Six, The Tremendous and Curious World of Beakerhead and the Science of Steampunk Sound. A lot of the events are free, so be sure to get out and see what’s happening. More details can be found on our website. Note: outdoor events have been cancelled for Sept. 10th due to weather.
The Boom Booms Live on Stephen Avenue
Saturday Sept 13th - The #IAMDOWNTOWN stage is back on Stephen Avenue. Join us for great local talent, as well as some future superstars! All performances will be at on the 100 East block of Stephen Avenue (8th ave) between Milestones Restaurant and the Telus Convention Centre. This week’s performance features The Boom Booms. It’s all FREE & open to the public/family friendly
18 Degrees of Jazz
18 Degrees of Jazz is a slick night of music we all love to jam to with a jazz personality. We have music from across the genre brought to you in a modern sound from Calgary’s very own Ellen Doty and her fabulous 7 piece live jazz band. This event is in support of Big Brothers Big Sisters of Calgary and Area.
