The 3rd annual Calgary International Burlesque Festival is a celebration of Burlesque, showcasing local, national and international performers. Every day of the festival brings a different showcase featuring the diverse types of modern and classic Burlesque entertainment. In addition to performances, the festival hosts educational workshops with professionals and provides networking and mentorship opportunities for Calgary’s burgeoning talent.
Friday night’s Cabaret features an eclectic mix of international and local performers hitting the stage at the beautiful Calgary Chinese Cultural Center. A true glamour spectacular, headlined by the Divine, Miss Judith Stein, and hosted by Vancouver’s Mr. Nickle, this is a show not to be missed!
The Saturday Showcase features the diverse and glamorous side of burlesque - dark, funny, sexy, silly; at times even a little shocking! Headliner Perle Noire (NY) takes the stage along with emcee Blanche DeBris (LV) at this year’s showcase at the fabulous Flames Central followed by the official After Party with guest DJs Girls on Decks & DJ Dopamine.
What better way to wrap up the fest than with some bacon and legs? The Grand Ballroom at the Sheraton Suites Eau Claire and admission includes a brunch buffet, headliner Sizzle Dizzle (NY) and will be hosted by Alberta’s own The Dirrty Show. Join us to bid the fest adieu for one more year.
